Laguna Outreach for Community Arts, Laguna Beach, CA / Treasure Island Park in Laguna Beach, CA / The Art of Tide Pooling & Watercolor Journaling Taught by Professional Laguna Artists. Guided by an Art Instructor, participants will explore tide pools and create sketches of the tiny creatures that live there. Great for families. The package includes a canvas tote bag, watercolor kit, gel pen, pencils and a journal. Meet at the south end of the Montage Resort at Wesley Drive. Time: 10am - 11:30am. Shen Wei Dance Arts
Orange County Performing Arts Center, Segerstrom Hall, 600 Town Center Drive, Costa Mesa, CA 92626 / ICenter audiences got a brief glimpse at the unique beauty of Shen Wei Dance Arts last year when the company appeared in Fall for Dance. Now, you can experience the full genius of this highly original artist when Shen Wei - still riding high from his work on the Beijing Olympics opening ceremony - returns to the Center with his acclaimed triptych Re- (Parts I, II, and III). This visually rich composition was inspired by the artist's travels through Tibet, Ankgor Wat, and the new Silk Road. Please note: In part II, the dancers wear only white body paint from the waist up. Two Shows! 2pm & 7:30pm

The tour encompasses historical and architectural highlights of the building, including the grand lobby areas, majestic auditorium and backstage space (when possible) where performers through the years, have left their autographs on the walls of dressing rooms and corridors.
Guides will share with you the stories of the visionaries who opened The Chicago Theatre, whose influence on popular entertainment in Chicago is still recognized today. Tours also include the photo exhibit in The Chicago Theatre's lower lobby, "Chicago: Three Centuries of Theatres."
